Dyslexia Screening: Dyslexia Center of Utah will be hosting a FREE DYSLEXIA SCREENING on Saturday January 28th from 9 am-12:00 pm. The screenings will take place at the Salt Lake Center located at 7304 South 300 West Suite 202, in Midvale. Screening takes about 20 min. per child. Call for an appointment time 801-259-7005. Walk-ins are also welcome, but you may have a wait. Signs of dyslexia include, poor reading, handwriting and spelling, a slow reader despite years of education/and or intervention, fear of reading out loud, average IQ, highly talented in art, drama, sports, music or building, but short attention span. Early detection and intervention are essential to children’s success and self-esteem. Come learn more about Dyslexia and the help that can be offered your child.
